Roller systems are the original conveyor belt system, dating back to the construction of Stonehenge, and even the Pyramids. Both powered and unpowered (‘gravity’) roller conveyors are a popular and economical method of moving larger packages or objects through a warehouse, distribution centre, manufacturing process or packaging plant. They also form effective ‘end stops’ for accumulation conveyors.
